NEW LAW PROTECTS YOU FROM SCAMS AFTER STORMS
Starting July 1, 2011 in Georgia, roofers cannot promise you they will waive your insurance deductible. They also can’t offer money or gifts in exchange for advertising in your yard. In addition, you now have five days to cancel an agreement, instead of three. Most reputable companies do not go door to door, informing you of roof damage to your property. It is wise to consult your insurance company, for a preferred vendor, or use someone you know and trust.

In addition, pipes that run against exterior walls that have little or no insulation are also subject to freezing. The following tips can help you keep your home safe this winter season.
